Having "enhanced" pattern recognition has for the most part been a good thing for me. It is now challenging my ability to function.

I know I’m not alone. This feels horrible.

That’s
illegal,
unconstitutional,
against the law,
against the Constitution…

"I do not think that word means what you think it means."

Well, they don’t seem to anymore. 😕

Caveat: for a significant % of society, it wasn’t truly functional in November 2024. I don’t care what "the numbers" said at the time, the economy sucked for a lot of people and has for a long time.

Some things being destroyed now aren’t recoverable. Some of the destruction will not be survivable.

RFK Jr's move to eliminate the Administration for Community Living, which helps disabled & aging people stay at home instead of being institutionalized, is disastrous.
I'm never done shouting about what my mom's institutionalization took from her & from us (so here's my @teenvogue.com piece again).

Where we are heading again. Protests will be under attack .

WWI Vets, their wives & children attacked, some killed, by US Army for protesting not receiving their earned pay. This was done w/out the Insurrection Act even being invoked. Look up the “Bonus Army” for more details.

With Medicaid, Medicare and Social Security under attack, people need to look into filial law requirements that are still on the books in 26 states. I could see it spreading to others given our current trajectory. States are going to dig anywhere they can to cover these expenses.

The FIFA Club World Cup for professional teams instead of nations is THIS summer.

Head of FIFA is now buddies with Trump. The clubs should boycott but want the money. It will be dangerous for their fans & players. Many of them look like people ICE is detaining/deporting. No one should travel here.

We started WTB to expose threats to government data security and inform readers about the administration’s impact. We’re spreading awareness and collaborating now while advocating for long-term solutions like Rep. Trahan’s efforts to modernize privacy laws. Protecting Americans’ data is essential.
Earlier today, I announced an effort to reform the Privacy Act, the 51-year-old law that protects Americans’ privacy from government abuse.

But I’ll need your help. We’re going to protect our privacy, together.

Let me explain why this effort is so important.

A little long but worth reading for the details as her story unfolds. This is despicable.

“We were bound in chains that wrapped tightly around our waists, with our cuffed hands secured to our bodies and shackles restraining our feet, forcing every movement into a slow, clinking struggle.”
I’m the Canadian who was detained by Ice for two weeks. It felt like I had been kidnapped
I was stuck in a freezing cell without explanation despite eventually having lawyers and media attention. Yet, compared with others, I was lucky
