yeah but i would really like for Visual Studio to support Dev Containers, that's why I'm kinda having difficulties choosing, that and we run AKS with Linux for production... but still prefer to develop on Windows (with fsutil SetCaseSensitiveInfo of course)

also studio for mac was just MonoDevelop\Xamarin Studio with a find and replace over it
and now that .NET core runs better then mono ever did no point in having it anymore (also its just another whole separate code base for them to support)

i have a friend that uses a Mac (because that's what his job gave him) he only has complaints
keyboard shortcuts are a total mess, etc

and I'm kinda wanting to maybe use dev containers... but VS only supports its for c++ projects
