It would seem that we in fact, do have a King. No amount of #NoKing protests have changed anything. We need the republican majority to actually do their job. To add a 90,000 square foot addition to a 55,000 square foot house is ridiculous.

And the president just hired a childhood friend if his to be his assistant. It comes with a salary over $300,000, a $600/month car allowance and a country club membership. It seems the majority of his duties have been in support of the football program.

You know it’s bad when Izzo steps in. With high salaries comes high expectations. It’s expensive to attend these games, out of reach for many. You can’t have it both ways, outrageous salary and then the request that the “average Joe” hangs in there with you until you figure it out.

The SS cap needs to be removed. Stop extending the age in which we can retire and, instead, FUND IT. If you tax 100 percent of salaries and not just the first $176,000 then… we can actually leave our jobs and make room for those looking for work. Or, who want to be promoted. #RichPayTheorShare

Where are the elected leaders in the Republican Party? Seriously, ask yourself this one question…. What would their reaction be if Obama did any of this? How about the Dems start messaging that? Remember when he wore a tan suit, they went crazy. Someone has to figure out how to turn this around.

Neither does the Republican majority. The press should make them very uncomfortable. No more interviews while they walk through congress on their way to the elevator. That clearly isnt working. We need people to do their job.

I’m curious why the trustees have to travel to Traverse City for a meeting. In the current climate where leadership is asking all MSU departments to reduce budgets by 9 percent and student tuition being approved for a hike, this is a bad optic.

Good point. I never saw a curtain. I saw phantom lights. One light next to the other. The eye this happened to had experienced an ischemic neuropathy over 25 years ago and has some visual decline already. So, I am grateful it didn’t happen in my “good eye”. Thank you for responding. This is scary

This has gone on long enough! I can’t understand why the Republican majority will not speak out against this administration. I know; they are afraid of getting primaried, but, they are supposed to serve the people, not themselves!

Hi. It has been hard. And scary. I am in my 4th week. I agree. The face down for 2 weeks was really hard . I am getting vision back in the damaged eye but it is weird. The gas bubble is still in there. Slowly absorbing. To be honest. I am scared and depressed.

I am going through this now. I assume you are further down the recovery road than I am. My surgery was 4 weeks ago. This is the scariest thing I have gone through. I hope you are doing well.
