Personality derived almost wholly from books. I'm opposed to facism; not sure what to call that?
I usually have 3 books going, and now is no exception. Here's what I'm reading when I can force myself not to doomscroll. #💙📚 #📚💙 The Cebo Campbell I can't stop reading, the Vera Wong is perfect for chores, and Erdrich is for when I want to fall in love with language. ❤️ the way she says everything.

The world's a mess, but these are some of my favorite books from 2025. I also read Hunchback, a lot of Craig Johnson, the new Isabel Cañas, Ghost Bride, and so many more, and I loved them all. #💙📚 #📚💙 Unwind me into the stars. Please.

I finished Ancillary Justice and it's going to be a contender for my favorite book of the year. "They'll ignore anything that doesn't get them what they want. And what they want is anything that can grab." So many prescient quotes. #AncillaryJustice #AnnLeckie #📚💙 I sobbed a few times.

This was my favorite this morning! Such a pretty song. But I couldn't see mine because the trees are too tall and too leafy. Nice problem to have. #birds # WestVirginia

This has been my favorite chart on StoryGraph the last couple of years. I love that I'm reading a lot of 'dark' books. Really matchy-matchy with the world atm. #📚💙 #21BooksSoFar

Just finished The Angel of Indian Lake by Stephen Graham Jones. Jade is the very best person to watch grow up. She's also a good reminder of our obligations to those who've fought to make this land a community for all of us. #BookSky #📚💙

I am reading one of each. Stephen Graham Jones physically, Stephen Fry on audio (obvs), and Kate Winkler Dawson as an ebook. Loving them all, in that order. #booksky #📚💙

Haha, you cheat! I love it! Ask me tomorrow, and I'd have all different picks.

It's a little rustic (my first ever book bracket) but here's my top 12 (of 122) of 2024. #BookSky #💙📚 The year of violence, it seems. So many other great books that aren't reflected here. They're ALL my favorites.

When I was barely halfway through Don't Fear the Reaper, I knew it was going to a favorite of the year. "It's Jade, actually." 💙📚 #BookSky 5 stars... no, 6 stars!

It's been 3 weeks, 6 days, and some hours since I finished My Heart Is a Chainsaw. I've been in agony waiting for book 2. Jade, I'm finally back! #BookSky

Ghost of the Tsunami. A wonderfully poignant nonfiction ghost story. This broke my heart and also settled permanently in my soul. Culturally significant, beautifully written, and unlike anything else I've read in the past 3 years.
