Have you tried using the Libby app through your regional library system, instead of Kindle? City/county tax dollars paid by you are already funding the library's ebooks/e-audiobooks. Why not make the switch! Every ebook read through Libby also contributes to keeping library branches open and funded!

The reason many Audible books do not make it to Libby is the choice of the publisher. Many restrict titles to Amazon for greater profit. In contrast, library systems purchase audiobook licenses & are limited to a certain # of checkouts/loans. Audiobook licenses are very expensive.

I work in a small town library. Have you tried looking for audiobook access outside your library system? If you pay for Audible, perhaps you are open to pivoting toward a paid library card, instead. Broward County Florida is my go-to recommendation.
