One of the most fabulous benefits of a card at my library is the ability to browse and borrow books on my Kindle. I still enjoy the occasional stroll through the stacks, but I like borrowing books while I'm in bed even more.

Isn't that what my Kindle is? Without all the baggage? I mean, c'mon, books on shelves need to be dusted and are heavy as hell when you have to move them in large quantities. And they aren't backlit.
