Possibly. But TechRadar says that “ competing services tend to spike when one carrier is experiencing one,” not because AT&T or T-Mobile is experiencing a separate outage but because Verizon users try to reach out to those networks and fail to connect, so they assume the other network is also out.

It’s a widespread outage. According to TechRadar, Verizon is aware of the problem and their engineers are working on it, but there’s no timeline for when it will be fixed.

Yes, me too. According to TechRadar, it is a major outage. They say that Verizon has confirmed the outage to them and Verizon’s engineers are working on it. No timeline for when it will be solved. There are over 175,000 user problem reports on Downdetector.

I voted early (last week.) Going to bed tonight very relieved by Virginia’s choices… and NJ, NY, and elsewhere.

I’m so sorry. I hope you’re able to spend some time with her virtually before the end. I’m holding both of you and your family in the Light.

Discovering nearly halfway through the shawl you are knitting as a gift that you misread the needle size significantly… and you’re working with mohair. (Hav you ever tried to frog mohair yarn?)

It does look a bit like Noro, but no. Actually, it’s James Brett Marble Chunky. I had some left from making a wrap for a friend who had lost her husband, years ago.

Swatch using the suggested needles and your usual tension l, and see if you get the gauge the pattern calls for. If your swatch is too big or loose, try a smaller set of needles. I hesitate to suggest trying to change your natural tension because it’s hard to stay consistent.

You want to knit a pretty tight fabric so it doesn’t stretch too much when you stuff it… and so the stuffing doesn’t show through.
