Antonio Tinio, representative from Act Teachers First said that EO 100 though sets the floor of rice but have limited impact to overal market. The floor price will only impacts to what government agencies can buy.

Alego stated if the government truly wants lower the rice prices, it should strengthen the local production and buy directly crops from farmers at least P20 as the farm gates buying price
