I can't really give you anything about the state of the world and I'm sorry about that, because shit just sucks right now, but I do want you to know that TWOAPW has helped me through some really shitty days/weeks/months. So if it helps at all, you all have had a direct positive impact on my life.

Yeah when I ended a long term codependent relationship a few years ago, I had to remember how to make friends. Hanging out at neighborhood bars was a big part of that, it's an easy way to meet new people, and my main neighborhood place has a genuine community around it with a bunch of great people.

I fully acknowledge that Tool is a band with many insufferable fans, composed entirely of Weird Guys, led by one of the Weirdest Guys, but Lateralus is still one of my favorite albums ever.
