Meanwhile I’m going to see them in Anaheim again at the magical Honda Center. (I’m actually very excited, get to see them on a back to back against the Ducks and Kings, it’s just decidedly less glamorous)

Absolutely. We usually fly in and out of terminal 7, which is calm and comfortable, security usually easy. Went back on Delta this time, had to go through 4. What a madhouse, security was a mess.

Yeah - absolutely one of the teams I hate the most. Hopefully this is an upgrade though.

Definitely - the clock is ticking now, and the margin of error is going to keep getting smaller. But this is going to be fun!

Anyone whose takeaway from this season is anything but hope and excitement must not be seeing what most of us are seeing. They’re building something special whether it produces a Cup or not.

I can’t see him not being an important piece of this team going forward. Not a long term 2C, but he fits right in to what they’re looking to be.

I thought Oregon football wrecked me emotionally until the last few weeks - this is rough. This will either make me irrationally happy or irrationally sad, but either way the response will likely be out of proportion. Still fun? I think?

Highlights their growth as well as Marty’s. Everyone has way more to go, but this is working.

Trying to keep perspective, this is probably a year ahead of what was expected. They’re not out and there’s absolutely tons to be excited about going forward. And Demidov on the ice with another day to acclimate gives me hope.

Not that he’s the long term solution, but I think Newhook is a good option at C for Demidov, and maybe it helps Newhook get the goal he desperately needs and deserves.
