Production numbers for Playmatic are unknown, but this was towards the end of the company’s run so probably only a couple hundred were produced. Many were scrapped and very, very few made their way to the United States from Europe.

This game was released right before Hankin’s most well-known pin, The Empire Strikes Back.

The game was produced as a tribute to the famous Australian cricket fast bowler Dennis Lillee. From what I can tell, the term “Howzat!” Is slang for “How’s That?” which is the traditional appeal that cricket players make to the umpire when they believe a basement is out

It is the second Tron-themed game from Bally Midway after its 1982 game Tron. It was designed by Robert Dinnerman with fantastic art by Brian Colin. I’ve heard that Discs of Tron was originally intended to be a fifth stage in the original Tron game.

1980 Zaccaria Space Shuttle, a product of Italy 🇮🇹.

Not to be confused with the super popular 1984 Williams pinball machine Space Shuttle. The Zaccaria version came first, but sold a lot fewer than the 7,000 that the Williams one did.
