For me it has been almost 2 years. I never had a problem, but people close to me do. Watching it ruin lives made me want to show my kids it’s not necessary to drink to have a good time or to wash away your pain. I don’t miss it at all.

I disagree with this. I understand the premise, but my kids having access to their phones has been invaluable to the health and safety of our family. And we have only dealt with personal issues. Can’t imagine not having access to them in a real world emergency.

As much as I loved the Obama’s and their calm, steady demeanors, it was their “don’t worry, I’ve got this” that was their real strength. Right now we need people with fire to step up and show us they get how scared we are. No one is leading us. We need a coordinated effort.

This is the most unsatisfying "I told you so" moment we've ever had.
