Yay I was finally able to figure out displaying numbers for my sliders!

However I spent a good portion of time wondering Why TF is it not showing a %? The code works in my other games and displays properly, so did I copy code wrong?

The answer is that for some reason the font uses '5 'for '%' lmao

I've been growing them out as long as I can tolerate them and I think I hit the limit bc ive never had long nails before and it's hard for me to pick Anything up. My thumbs nail just broke today and I'm floored to see how small my nails used to be. Also omg it's easier to type on my phone now

Someone on itch asked me how I did the text particles in some of my renpy games, so I'll share it here too. You can copypaste the code from the alt text

The idea is you still use SnowBlossom and its usual settings for speed/direction, but instead of an image you use Text like it's an image.

Ren'Py code where I had to mix the word UNINTELLIGIBLE several times in the dialouge because a font is making it unreadable and I had to come up with a Text to Speech version. Going through your VN with Text-to-Speech is fun bc the following happens so much

1: Huh tts is mispronouncing this word, so I must have mispelled it
2: Ok wtf its not misspelled, is that Actually how that word is pronounced??
3: Lmao ok dictionary says it isnt so how do i make tts say that word

Some code in Ren'Py where I try to make certain words that Text-to-Speech weirdly pronounces close to how they're supposed to sound. Some results are funny, like forcing tts to pronounce grimaces as Grim Ass Is. I transferred my files over for testing and forgot to take out the loading images that bricks my computer LMAO. If you do loading images for your VNs like me, let this be a cautionary tale to dont have detailed transparent bits thatll make your computer chug. At least it looks sick w my desktop bg

Theres no sky in the loading image so it looks like the poppy hills have neat galaxy bg. There's files about but for the sake of privacy i crossed some out with cloud stickers and scribbles of "lol".
