Indeed, it was rather obvious! The moment he woke up in that room it was clear it was monster time.

Of course, springing the monster on our protagonist when he's wounded and unarmed in a hospital does make it scarier, but it's a different kind of fear.

That's the point for me when the fight-or-flight response tilts in favour of "fight," which despite increasing age I still imagine I can do, whereas hidden menace and inexplicable events are a lot more scary as there's nothing of which to take control or even understand.

I have commented on it. I live outside Banbury but often go in - the museum is the only worthwhile thing to visit in that shopping centre. Not sure if it's worth emailing our MP as when I've done so before he's fobbed me off, not attended debates etc. etc.

Indeed! My band has been doing Take Ten recently, as it's a little more obscure...

One example of this was paying a music teacher overseas who'd given me a video lesson. Payment blocked by PayPal for secret reasons and I was told to find an alternative method. The only one was to find someone else with an account to pay on my behalf, which was embarrassing.

At work this is certainly true, it's all emails and teams where I work. I long for a fix for the problem of functionaries and tradesmen wanting to call me out of the blue when they please, or only being reachable by phone, though.

I think that a big help with calls would be a existence of proper video phones as promised by the sci-fi of my youth. Seeing a caller's face is very helpful in dealing with the stress of calls. If callers would send a message first to ask if one's free, so much the better.

At least the philistines didn't pick (and thus spoil) the decent Dredd film.
