The amendment would under the guise of Data Protection, force all records including driving licence and passport to out trans people. It is urgent that you contact your MP and use all channels to prevent this. I have drafted a letter to my MP which people can use as a template.

This is important. proposed amendments to the Data Protection and Digital Information Bill, specifically New Clause 21 (NC21) submitted by Dr Ben Spencer MP and others, which appears to mandate the recording of “sex” solely as defined by “sex at birth” across public authorities.
