Here's my pitch for a new indie game. It's a metroidvania / survival / town management sim, and with anime tiddies. I like supporting indy devs, but a lot of Next Fest stuff seems like the same old stuff. Anyone play any cool demos?

Went around all these shops looking for the pokemon serial codes with my kids yesterday. Today my dumbass remembers phones are a thing and can just call around. On our way now.

Back from a week in Kyushu... time for some Megabonk.
Silent Hill got pushed aside when I tried out Megabonk for a just a bit... which ended up being about 35 hours of gaming. So addicting.
Off to Kyushu for a week for work, so hopefully that breaks the addiction.

Never played a Silent Hill game, but I think I might try this new one. Releases a day before my bday, and got a horror itch playing that Silent Cleaning game recently (Great advertising for KAO cleaning products)

I saw Get Up Kids live in concert and went to the screening of Gundam Wing Endless Waltz this week. Basically reliving high school. Better reinstall AIM and see if any of my friends are still online.

Pass or fail though, I'm proud on the improvement I've made this past year. Being more involved at work, watching shows from start to finish with no English subs, reading manga and books at decent speeds. It's nice to see and feel progress outside of a test.

While I was in Akiba the other day selling shit. I bought two cheap Gundam models. I wanted to build something but Lego are getting so expensive. Grabbed a panel liner pen, and clear top coat, and some 100 yen fine sanding nail files. Let's hope this doesn't turn into another money sucking hobby.

The thing that pisses me off the most is I'm at my home station and they're directing traffic to the university across the street for the JLPT... Why'd I'd have to go 80 minutes away when there was a place I could've walked to?

I just realized... will I be able to take the test tomorrow? I've never practiced or studied in complete silence. Not sure I'll be able to concentrate unless I have my kids yelling in the background.

My son is a thoughtful kid. He asked if I was sure I wanted to sell the famicom, and offered his Splatoon 3 to sell (he doesn't play it anymore). We'll be parting with Pokemon Gold&Silver and keeping Crystal and Yellow.

Was gonna sell my AV Famicom, but I remember getting into a bidding war on Yahoo for it. Went back and checked, and it's brand new. Won't be selling that to the 2nd hand shops.

Got two blue Ikea bags full to take to Akiba tomorrow. Could probably fill a third. Really consolidating my collection down to SNES, GB, and Megadrive. Mercari for some stuff, but after shipping, fees, and waiting for the sale, some stuff is easier to take to the 2nd hand shops.
