I answer: look at the kind of person this system throws its arms around and cherishes as members of its own class, beloved and attended, and elevates to power and status. Look at who it reviles, rejects and tramples all over. Are we seeing a pattern forming, here.

And you can tell this is true just by 1) looking at the intergalactic divide between “what our leaders say” and “what our leaders do”, and 2) at the yawning chasm that divides the relentless catastrophes they inflict from any kind of serious, meaningful negative personal consequences.

While it is ultimately my decision, it isn't my decision. What's worth remarking on is the people I discuss this with are surprised when I tell them what Musk is doing. If you stick to your football heavy curated timeline you don't necessarily notice.

Marie's point is wider than Twitter. But anyway: Because it is where all of football is. It drives me mad but sport is dead over here. I ask for AFQ questions here and get fuck all engagement. I barely post there myself. Am on for about 5 mins a day mostly to give something like D'Urso a push or DMs
