It's getting better to just play older games now imo. Newer games are just bloatware at this point from major studios. The indie devs are where the best gaming experiences are at.

pretty much. It's a lot to do with the risk and reward. SO when you're in pvp with another player it's that risk of losing everything should you lose the fight versus winning and getting everything that the enemy had on them.
It's main draw is the risk versus reward with those engagements.

yea it's dumb I agree. Essentially it's the only game type defined by a mechanic.
Essentially it's ending the game, allowing you to take any collected resources with you back to the hub area. You then use those resources for completing quests, building upgrades or selling for money. That's it.

Only thing it has in common with tarkov is game loop. Go out, loot, extract.
Looting loop in ARC is mehn. Nothing feels valuable/worth grabbing. Once you're bored of that it's got nothing going on with it same as tarkov, I find Tarkov more enjoyable than ARC. Arc is easier to get into.
