Oh look, the dreck is on sale. And I gather I misinterpreted it. You control the old people, and you're making them commit mayhem I guess? Still sounds dumb.

I think I also tried to resist when the free game was some "murder old people. JUST DIE ALREADY." sandbox simulator? I don't really remember that game all that much.

Wait, never mind. That was a Humble Monthly title that I didn't want.

I know that, but it's the only other gator game I can think of off hand, and the only one worth telling anyone about.

Further going down the translation path, a basic LLM can run on your local hardware, and can sometimes do things like explain a translation in your native language if you ask it to. Wouldn't recommend it for guaranteed accuracy, since there's rare moments where could make mistakes. And hide them.

LLMs also make for rather quality translations for personal use. Again, in all of these fields, I would recommend using professional experts if you have the budget for it, since you'll likely get more consistent results. But for one or two people having fun? Tech can be cool.

Funny enough, people can find it valuable for personal tasks as well, depending on how firmly entrenched they are in using electronic tools to perform work. Or play around for personal research or brainstorming. Some may find it easier to go down that rabbit hole than to spend fivers for such things

Die Hard is clearly a New Years movie. Remembering that one time we managed to time it perfectly so Hans hit the pavement precisely at midnight.

And for Private Trackers, you have to know a friend of a friend of a friend to get invited, then you have to spend ages cultivating your ratio.

Or for public things like Soulseek, you have to use a VPN, unless you enjoy nastygrams from your ISP.

Amazon has "Guiter" too! And they claim it was released in 1994.

Like, seriously, for my dad, blatant sex in books was "in one ear and out the other", basically just skip over this and forget it even happened. Then pass the book on to your kids, they'll love it.

I mean, christianity is simultaneously the most popular religion and also the most persecuted.

How in the HELL do all of the hundreds of people discussing this on r/persecutionfetish have 1000+ karma? The first time I had a Reddit account, it took me over 5+ years to get to even 850 karma. Do people just, like, not compulsively upvote every post they think is even remotely positive? I do that
December 1, 2025 at 9:21 AM
My first account, I only got 850 karma after literally 5+ years of using the site. People did not customarily upvote my posts when replying to them, like I always customarily upvoted every single reply in a thread that I happened to like.

What is this shitty site? Why does it matter so much?

They now show a random purchase history based video on the checkout page, after you pass the usual "Are you sure you don't also want some of these?" static items page.
