Good to see you back! If I may offer a suggestion, there’s a romhack called Mario Adventure 2 that has 1000 stars. Yes. 1000 stars. It’s basically “put Mario in Sonic Adventure 2 and see what happens”. It may not be a chaos edition; but it’s still GLORIOUS.
