Yess usually that's how it ends up going with mine as well! Once in a WHILE I'll start with the general lore related idea that turns into a character though, but not often!

Oh it absolutely does!! I've been trying hard to actually put work into lore or at least SOME story/backstory on mine these days as well! And it can be a lot of fun too! (not always easy but still)
A pretty face is nice but, a full layered character! Now that's where it's at!
