day 16: happy harpy doodle! sorry for a few missed days. i got sick and then honestly for the past couple of days ive just been making excuses. i need to get ahold of those adhd meds ASAP

day 15: i skipped another day! sorry, won't allow this to be frequent, i just had a bad headache and a lack of sleep.

today's drawing is... a mixed bag as you can plainly see. im still on the harpy grindset but today i tried to mix effort and efficiency with mixed results. awful face.

day 14: so uhh... welcome to day 15? i was too sleepy last night. need to start drawing earlier. figured id make up for it with a double whammy today by dedicating some time to drawing by hand at work! and hey it went pretty decently! but then i went home and burned my pencil fingers while cooking 🫠

day 13: practicing drawing a wing arm. the arm part ended up freakish but the feathers don't look terrible

day 12: sleepy. i should really book another psychiatrist appointment so i can get more ADHD meds but alas here is the result of another day of immense procrastinations. a 20 minute design sesh of some simple emotion-based mask designs. most of today's time went into drawing circles over and over.

day 11: gonna stop quote retweeting myself daily because i think it pads my page out unnecessarily by making every tweet twice as long and every drawing show up twice

anyway. silly cat ball.

day 10: stayed up real late today but played some gartic phone with pals. figured uploading one of the horrific pieces i drew there would suffice as a substitute since i spent a decent amount of time drawing overall.

day 9: lazy 20 minute resketch fo today

day 8: i was sleepy today so i decided to just freestyle something simple but i liked the vibe

day 7: well well well, i tried speeding up my drawing today. somehow magically beat out whatever yesterday's monstrosity was. significantly less terrible, though still looks like a 12 year old's deviantart. ive been practicing eyes, but i might redo day 1 tomorrow. closed eyes are cool and easy

day 6: utter catastrophe! i tried again to draw my OC from day 1 in a more straightforward look and it went utterly terrible! there's a lot that immediately looked wrong that i just put off fixing but it led to the whole package looking horrendous and i gave up

well well, i learned yet more stuff!

day 5: more eye experimentation! just trying out further ideas and textures. today's is honestly worse in most ways but im figuring out things i want to bring forwards into the future

definitely gonna need to check out some tutorials i think. there are a few things im unsure how to do at this point

day 4: thank god i have google! i thought to myself, foolishly, so blissfully unaware of the AI hell i would come to release upon my corneas. indeed "anime girl" is no longer a searchable term. i had to be more specific.

in the end i stole some tricks from genshin impact Hu Tao's eyes. much better

day 3: whoowhee, this will take some practice! tried drawing an anime styled eye today. all 3 drawings thus far have been entirely off of memory and intuition, but im definitely at the point where im going to need reference pictures to improve. i see so much wrong but little know-how to fix it!

day 2: vent art for today. this is a new iteration of a previous drawing i made on paper bored at work. i think this time around i managed to make the lamp post outside look more obvious and hostile as intended. really hated that thing.
gonna need to work on shading and scary shadows. tried colors!!

day 1: today i went way over time budget on just troubleshooting and setup for art software and tablet. unboxed this badboy and almost immediately struggled to get the screen on. then lots of time figuring out i needed drivers to get the pen right. still spent like 15-20 minutes on doodling this OC
