In the last few years, I’ve waned in my inspiration to share online. It used to really excite and motivate me. As we face the coming radical shift toward fascism, I am trying to hold on to inspiration & courage. It’s easy to let it slip away.

I joined the Harris Walz call. Utterly hollow gesture. Our girl seemed slightly sedated. The chat had people saying on a steady stream “RECOUNT” and “FORENSIC AUDIT” but they were like, don’t give up guys, keep fighting. Disappointing.

Omg I went to a mall and it felt apocalyptic. Society collapsing vibes.

Starting to get pissed that Harris campaign is emailing me every day for money & it appears they have no intention to request a recount in swing state counties to ensure accuracy.

I have now converted to calling the MSM “legacy media” — RIP, y’all are not mainstream. More like paved the way for a “peaceful transfer to fascism” (Jon Stewart)

Maybe I was in a relief coma that Saturday in November 2020 when the election was called for Biden, but I do not remember hearing blame republican post mortems like we are inundated with right now.

The rush to say soothing things feels hollow and empty, like sure sure a billion bright stars in the darkness. Still dark af. The paranoia route feels like bypassing sitting with raw feelings of failure. We lost the battle. But I’m not ready to be a soldier again. I’m gathering strength & mourning.

My daughter & I waved enthusiastically at a construction vehicle coming down our street and the driver smiled and waved back. Social interactions with a toddler are so lawless and unlock doors that adults have closed.

What finally made me come here was Heather Cox Richardson saying she was moving here.

As an elder millennial, I wonder if the nature of social media is that every platform eventually falls and you will spend your life migrating yourself from one to the next. I started on Diaryland lol.

Me on the Google election map clicking swing states and subtracting her votes from his to check the margins. Razor thin. Everyone in legacy media is acting like la-dee-dahh it’s a decisive victory. Having a hard time accepting it.
