hey, I'm koko. I mainly tell computers to do things via archaic languages, but I also make art in any digital medium I can get my paws on. sources say I also make "video games" and "video game engines" when I have time

it would probably be best for me to briefly describe my fursona here, for those who rely on a screenreader. she is part fox, part goat; more specifically, she's a fox with goat legs, fluffy wings, and horns (which resemble a sheep's more than a goat's). as for coloring, she has desaturated reddish-pink hair, hot-pink coloring on her paws (and the tips of ears/tail), and a more normal shade of pink on the upper half of her face. her wings and legs are a dark gray, aside from some pink markings on her calves. she typically only wears a pale-yellow ribbed sweater. this is her "demoness form"; she also has a normal form without the wings, horns, or goat legs, which is used in the very first illustration here. 2 illustrations of my fursona - in the first, she's in front of a DEC PDP-11/34 minicomputer, which also contains 2 decpack units. she's also standing next to a DECwriter of some kind. she's also wearing office attire. in the second, my fursona is standing behind a stack of boxes with adjectives describing UNIX. she has a speech bubble, which says 'The shell allows you to execute, redirect, and even script commands! Try running this one.' she is winking and presenting a fork bomb. 2 pixel artworks of my fursona - the first is a large-scale piece, where she is looking down at the viewer and has a kind of angry/annoyed expression. the perspective is slightly from below, and fire can be seen in the background. the second piece is a more traditional, full-body sprite of her, winking and giving a peace sign. several 3D renders - my humansona as a plushie, a blown capacitor with an x-eyes kaomoji on it, Windows 98 interpreted as a 3D desktop, a person in a room with boxes and a big ethernet port with a box coming out of it, and a model of my fursona holding the K&R C book, with a perplexed expression art of my fursona poking through an x11 window titled 'xkoko' in a monochrome twm setup. she has two speech bubbles which say 'Trying to get some work done, are we? Cute. Let's fix that~'. other windows are open; xedit has the text 'please get out of my workstation :((' typed in. xman's search window is open and the query 'remove demon foxgirl how??' is entered. xterm is open and a 'killall xkoko' command is issued, with the response 'hehehe, nice try ;3'. the twm main menu is open to the exit dialog, which has only one option: 'Really quit twm? - Too bad, you can't~ <3'. xconsole shows entries for the root permissions being changed, a service named 'kokod' being registered and started, and a scheduled shutdown of 30 seconds.

and that's a wrap! this year's #VCFMW was easily the best thus far, but it also completely wiped me out (eyes nervously at unpacked boxes)

thanks to all who stopped by, and even more thanks to those who bought stickers! first time doing that so I'm glad it worked out okay.
