May have just cackled out loud because I just got a text for the first time from one of my nieces with the intro of “this is your favorite niece (you know who)” as though though I don’t have 6 other nieces, but I guess since I do know who she might not actually be wrong concerning her status.

Finally! The gay hockey drama has some story substance! Ok tbf ep3 had a bit that I was digging but this weeks ep finally makes me start to have feelings about the characters and also not feel like I’m reading a random pwp fic.

Started wrapping gifts to get a head start for Xmas to get a head start & cross people off my list for who has been bought for and now have to go back to a store to get a missed security tag removed from a few weeks ago (I was just there last week for a second time even)

I will pretty much end up in an overcrowded mall every weekend of Nov through Xmas…I go in knowing they will be mad houses for parking, but it is now the first time I’m having to queue up to shop a store…will be disappointed if they let me down.

I think my cat has become the keeper of my morning routine. Anytime she catches my dawdling she lets me know. She literally just grabbed my hand with my phone in it as to say “hey, put that down, you’re going to be late”.

Convinced I’m somehow the Dallas Stars lucky penny. I show up in person they win, I’m in the opposing teams’ city/state when they’re playing in Dallas, the Stars win. I am very much a Stars fan except when it comes to the Washington’s (DC & Seattle). I feel I should apologize.

I fully acknowledge that I have a too many tabs open issue on my phone browser, which now with new phone I’m trying to trim that down, but I very pleasantly ran across an OFMD gentlebeard fic I was reading and got really excited to continue it.

This little lady is 5 whole years old today! Her gotcha date’s not til March, but we adopted her from a friend so we know her actual bday. Happy Birthday to our lovely Miss Peppercorn! Despite being a butt half the time she is the most pleasant & well behaved kitten I could have ever wished for.

Welp, came back from vacation and spent money on a new phone. Haven’t had a phone upgrade in a few years so gonna be a tiny bit of adjustment since it’s a tiny bit bigger than my last one, but in a tiny bit giddy bc new tech.

We get to have fire now. Apparently the answer is multiple cabins complain about fire ban signs in the pits when the county is not under ban to the on site staff and they’re like “oh fire ban is lifted, you’re good to fire”.

Oh no! They are reproducing this hoodie I had way back in the day and I’m so tempted to buy it bc I wore mine into the ground and ended up repurposing it into a decorative pillow for a niece.

Just bit the bullet and spent like what feels like a bit too much money on 2 concerts for Jan & Feb. Continuing to try and convince myself it’s a treat for all the continuous overtime I keep putting in at work.

Today’s one of those days I hate being in management. Had to retrieve something from a coworker’s desk since they called in and found a hot mess that makes no sense. Like I see putting something in a tray and accidentally covering it for a week maybe & forgetting, but every week for 10 weeks?

Finally sat down and played with my ink swatch cards this morning that I bought months ago. Really wanted to see how the new inks I bought yesterday looked. We have a few more inks I need to swatch but they are L’s & I need to get him to clarify which colors they are.

Found out about a local pen show kind of last min, but despite a smaller budget than I would have liked to have gone with picked up a pen that’s been on a wishlist and some other fun things.
