When I was in San Francisco someone said I should go to Joshua Tree NP. It was out of the way for Yosemite & Death Valley. I am not in DV yet & the was the first one…of 1000’s. I got close to Joshua Tree NP but I was still amazed by Death Valley

I was driving East to DV and happened to look in the mirror. This was going on behind me. I took this picture when I stopped, I could hear a vehicle coming so I waited and got the first pic. This one is not bad though
