Glad to hear about the writing being okay. Nicely put, yeah - one could tell it'sMiura'sbaby since the late 80s and grew with him. It's certainly not easy to adapt that and follow up! True about the loss for them, too... I'm sure they gonna find their own language and story after this.

Same here, yeah. It's really super dear to me.

Damn, I was imagining this to happen when he's not involved anymore. I know the team is doing their best, and its not easy to fill up what was left, but I definitely see a huge gap in quality for the drawings, which hurts. Can't speak for the writing.

I was hit so hard by his passing, I was suprised myself... crying and down for days. yeah, it feels so unfair that he wasn't able to finish his life project on his own. stopped reading the manga with his last page, not sure if I pick it up anytime again. :/

Kentarō Miura having an interview in 2020, for the "The Great Berserk Exhibition" in Tokyo, 10–23 September 2021. Here he was asked how far we currently are with the story of Berserk. His response: "3/5 of the way? No, maybe 4/5." On May 6, 2021, Miura died due to acute aortic dissection, at the age of 54. His death was publicly announced on May 20, 2021. Another screenshot from the same interview, with Miura saying: "Everyone, I will continue working hard on Berserk, so please support me.", while bowing in front of the camera...

I am so happy to hear you like it! Research for this was a lot of fun, too! I think Atsu is a super cool character, and you do an amazing job portraying her. Really love all the subtle acting you do with your face, tried to get that across here. Congrats again, Erika! I am so happy for you!!! 👏🎉🥰🧡🐺
