a huge reason I've always been big on leaving comments or interacting with posts!
(also w anti culture i think there's a sense of shame to put their username under the comments and admit you read smth, but that's a different fandom shift that affects the way people interact too)

I think a big fandom shift in interacting with stuff has gone from people commenting under the created thing whether it be fic or art to people linking it in private discord groups where the person who made it will never see any positive comments left on the thing they made.
