Yeah, I could do everything in white, but then it wouldn't be scannable. I tried a silver in white version, but that wouldn't scan.

The layer painting took a bit of figuring out, but now I can print as many as I need, in whatever color combinations I like.
Now I just need to decide how many I'll need for JMoF. I'm tempted to make some rare variants, but am not sure about that yet.

It's a "pork theme park" in Saitama, where the focus is on food. We just ate in the restaurant and did some shopping, but it was still well worth the trip.
Can't wait to go again!

Here's the assembler, along with heads and ring prints. I'll do more QRs later.

Here's my first attempt at a digital con badge, which will probably get its first two-world use at JMoF 2026 in January.

A friend suggested rotating the model in the slicer to make the thinner areas stronger. It seemed to work, and the print with supports looks very "fresh out of the vat." The support material looks like a lot, but it's mostly hollow.

I did a couple if upgrades yesterday - direct drive setup and swapped the plastic extruder parts for metal ones. One calibration cube and a few cali-dragons later, everything was coughing along nicely.

Figured I'd give my settings a proper test with this little Protogen.

Aside from saying "The bears will fucking kill you!" I don't see how much more plainly they could spell things out.

If you find yourself in Seward, Alaska, do yourself a favor and drop by.

After looking up the chain online, I realized that they had a location across the street from the hotel I stayed in during JMoF. How did I miss that?!?
