Yup! There are lots of instances that you can steal another player’s card and put it on your side of the battlefield. In that case, you control it but don’t own it, and a creature always goes to its owner’s hand, graveyard, etc. :)

To my understanding this isn’t necessarily Hoyo’s fault, but the external studios who are refusing to add Anti-AI language to the actor’s contracts, and so the VAs are striking their studios. I’m sure there’s more to it than that but that’s what I’ve heard
