Mamdani’s entire campaign and win of the mayoral race today is honestly the most hopeful I’ve felt about a politician and our governmental systems in a long, long time. In the most literal, non-hyperbolic way I can possibly convey, it feels world-changing. The subsequent ripple effects will be huge.
