Just home from an amazing event with Robert Putnam at #Harvard Kennedy School. Such an inspiring talk about how decreasing rates of social #cohesion and social capital explain major issues of our modern society and what we can do against it. I definitely see #neighborhoods as one important mediator!

My first week as a #fellow at the #sociology department at @harvard.edu is nearly over. There was snow, rain and ice but also inspiring talks and open-minded people. Thank you for welcoming me! Five more weeks are more to come. I am looking forward to it!

What does space have to do with dropouts rates? My new article says: a lot! Between 2005 and 2020, the no. of trainees dropping out of the dual training system rose steadily. The trend has a regional component. See the article (🇩🇪) for more details:
