Well, at least one of the SunPCi2 cards I know is working. Managed to get a hodgepodge of VNC and the sunpci program running on the 420R. Have managed to install WindowsXP on just a 600Mhz Celeron and 192MB of RAM. Curious if there are any better methods of remote use with this on the 420R.

It’s a night for Sun! I’ve got one of these Sun PCi II cards in the 420R. The 420R is alive and well with a new NVRAM chip with working battery. Have to install Solaris 8 onto it now to support the Sun PCi II. Also learning software install from CD on the side.

Repairing modifying NVRAM batterry for my Sun Ultra 1 and 420R. The M48T59Y chip is intimidating as the battery and chip are completely encased in Epoxy. Knowing where to cut is scary. I got the battery off then split it when trimming away near the leads. That was upsetting. 2nd time a success.

Some new blue jewelry for the engine. I needed a new fuel line here and some high pressure blue colored 5/16 was the right price on The Slamazon.

Everything is back together on this EJ207 and no fuel leaks with the new fuel lines. Happy Camper here.

New, updated fuel lines for my Subaru. I made really crude brackets to hold the wire harness out of spare sheet steel. The 20 year old plastic mounts crumbled away to dust.
