We believe that approaching time and space as inseparable can help in designing more accessible environments and services that better respond to real needs—including, but not limited to, those with mobility impairments.

We explore how space and time are interconnected in shaping wheelchair users' everyday lives. We show how physical barriers and different modes of movement can alter the perception of time and how varied experiences of time shape interactions with space.
