Yes and OpenAI circumvented paying reddit by using data from wayback machine. Reddit no longer allows their indexing all pages because of that. They have to be hit sometime by lawsuits from infringements I assume.

At this point I think that is a smart move. Chatgpt5 release was a misstep and it seems like apple is too far behind to acquire and create their own like Perplexity (plus they don't seem apt to sell). Gemini really is a great product.

Yes it is very scammy and begging for clicks at this point. There is no consistent name for it so most articles just throw everything all at once.

That level of AI posting can easily be detected by Google and buried in search. I'm not worried by scam nonsense content. Google really cracked down already after last June core update. Companies we know dropped 20% that overuse AI for content. Google is watching.
