Sending a package to @quinnypig.com. I wanted to make sure UPS knew it had no drugs in it.

Driving in Ireland is a wild experience. Never mind the fact you have to drive on the left. Even without that it would be wild. The roads are extremely narrow, what would be a one lane road in the us is two lanes in opposite direction.

People park in the road and you just drive around their cars.

I made my son a brass coin. The laser etched it out of a brass blank. Then I ran it through a magnetic polisher and aged it with “Brass Black”.

He loved it. Now he wants to make other coins.

I have to get the ventilation setup, build the enclosure, figure out lightburn... Or maybe I'll just plug it in tomorrow in my garage and see what happens.

This was either an amazing decision or a horrible one.

Today is Lexapro's second birthday. To celebrate, I brought her to work and gave her a double dose of CBD.

Every once in a while I like to get low and whisper into Lexapro's ear "In an apocalypse, you're food".

Weekend project: running ventilation for my H2D. The inline fan and the printer both talk to home assistant so fan is automated and runs when the printer does.

Pro tip: when branding wood, it’s much better to get the wood wet first. It results in a crisper brand. Also don’t leave the brand on the wood too long or press down too hard. Not necessary.

Spent the day roasting coffee. 33ish pounds turned into 28ish roasted.

In awe at the amazing professionals at Children’s Hospital. On Friday our son’s pediatrician sent an xray to their ortho team. By that evening he was admitted and on Saturday he had surgery for SCFE. Everyone at the hospital was amazing and the boy is set for a full recovery.

This coffee was sold to me as a "light" roast. I think they sent me the wrong bean by mistake. There is no way this is a light roast. I sent them an email with pics, let's see what they say.
