It was actually unconscionable on multiple levels - several of the blocks that had their power poles worked on had no streetlights for weeks afterwards. In the middle of summer, one block off a major road network arterial. Biking home was nerve wracking.

This was awful even for 10 hours on one of the hottest days in July too (in a building with no suites w/ cross ventilation). The assumption that everyone has someplace they can just go to for an extended period of time (sometimes at odd hours) I find infuriatingly classist / exclusionary.

I feel the same - that bass line in Rocksmith was always enjoyable.
