I’m still so upset about the upcoming Eddie Brock: Carnage and the fact that Red has been acting horribly out of character since the Ram run, but I can’t deny that this separation has been written very well.

If this is intentional, it makes Red and Cletus separating that much more tragic.
Cletus had always been alone until he found Red.
From then on, he always had someone who truly understood him. But now even RED has changed on him.
