Like I said, I do normally enjoy the ups and downs and I do enjoy you as the presenter. But that might’ve been a message specifically targeted to certain people in United States rather than the fandom and at large. Look forward to the rest of the ups and downs of the season and any retros coming.

But maybe an outside perspective that might offer some insight. Given everything that’s going on in the United States right now from the president to CBS to everything really, with things being canceled for being too “woke“ maybe they just felt like they needed to remind people what Star Trek was.

I understand your frustration about the heavy handedness in the last episode about how it kept pointing to itself and saying “do you get it we’re talking about Star Trek?”
