lmao yes, I truly respect the director's decision to make it as nightmarish. I remember the first time I watched the movie; it made me so uncomfortable that I paused it and rewatched it another time. The young Godzilla made my skin crawl

It’s really hard to describe to people who are not artists how survival mode does *not* inspire creativity, as the myth would have us believe. It suppresses creativity as you try to limit every possible risk – and the opportunities that come with them.

I used to be able to go through 6–8 hours-long art sessions with ease, but now I get nausea if it's been more than 3 hours with a tad of bad posture. I think my body is telling me to sit properly. I miss my endurance...

It fucks me up that most adults can't take art seriously as a medium for storytelling. Like it's considered a normal thing for adults to enjoy going to a museum and hanging a painting in their house but they draw the line at reading a graphic novel because "comics are for kids". That's insane.
