You understood it correctly! When I turn on the laptop from shut down and then sign in it takes about a minute or two to load and this is a M4 pro with the upgrade to 48 gb ram. So I think maybe I got a bad one… 😭💦

Spending 3K on a new laptop only to find that it isn’t as snappy or as responsive as my old Windows 10 desktop is somewhat disappointing. Pls let this new one just be a bad egg… 😭💦

M4 pro Macbook users, question! When you power up and sign on, does it normally take a minute or two to load into the home screen? Like the little white loading bar showing up to load. 🤔 I feel like it should be snappier? Like instant load to home screen? Or is that just a Windows thing? 😓
