The illegal DOGE just cancelled 169 contracts in the Institute of Education Sciences (the research arm of Dept of Ed). This adds to the devastating cuts to science at NIH and NSF. Someone tell me how eviscerating American science is "government efficiency"

- I’m concerned about its environmental impact
- It’s history is not getting the comm it deserves
- I am not confident the people who are the face of AI right now are the most ethical or honest
