Living illegally somewhere (anywhere) has its drawbacks.

For the individual and the state.

I don’t understand it at all either.

The US already has a full blown fascist government.

Now the federal government tries to remove the leadership in the anti fascist states.

I will not back down.

Trump is now calling for the arrest of elected representatives checking his power.

What else is left on the path to full-blown authoritarianism?
Donald Trump Truth Social Post: Chicago Mayor should be in jail for failing to protect Ice Officers! Governor Pritzker also.

Then imagine people choosing 4 more years of diarrhea.

The parallels are clearly there.

Nazi Germany didn’t start at the end result.

The Tories are no better and even Labour share some of the same policies.
kresten2.bsky.social
Well the Tories are far right too.

On what planet are the Orange Order inclusive?

They’re racist, misogynistic, homophonic and sectarian.

Inclusive of White Protestant heterosexual’s and fuck all else.

Robert Jenrick unlawfully approved a project to save Richard Desmond £45m in taxes. Desmond owned the Daily Express while it was spewing out a torrent of Brexit hate and lies. The whole thing stinks of a reward for services rendered.

The Tory party operated the UK as if it was a banana republic.

Anything would be better than nothing.

He is in favour of a hard Brexit.

I don’t understand why that is but this is not going to change.

He has nailed his colours to the Brexit mast and will go down with the Brexit ship like the Tory PMs before him.

A nice position in the HoL might be what he is after.

The UK is already among the poorest in WE. Southern Europe and Central Europe catching up fast.
kresten2.bsky.social
…nothing to do with it.
kresten2.bsky.social
Many benefits for those that chose to engage.

The UK chose to obstruct for years and then leave in a hissy fit burning down all bridges when doing so.

That was probably not very smart. At least the EU managed to ring fence Brexit and make it a UK problem only…which is fair as the EU had…

Also Poland is now a land of opportunity. The UK is the opposite.

The EU helps all MSs. That doesn’t mean that the MSs doesn’t have to make an effort too but if they do the EU will help them transform.

Not all EU MSs have been sufficiently grateful but that is another story.

What words to hear on my 20th anniversary of arriving in the UK! I can tell her exactly why Poland has done so well - the EU had paid a very large part in it ! Why are they clapping.

Bloody Poles, came here, stole all our opportunities!

It is actually great news for the EU.

Finally those flaunting our rules for years, living without residency and not paying taxes, will get caught…eventually.
kresten2.bsky.social
…in Spain.

Those getting caught now deserves the deportation/entry ban, fines etc.
kresten2.bsky.social
Indeed. The rules haven’t changed only the chance of getting caught.

In countries like Spain it was actually illegal for Brits (and everyone else) to stay more than 90 days even when the UK was still an EU member unless you got residency. Many didn’t want that because they didn’t want to pay taxes

This isn't really news. It's been the case since Brexit, it's just that it's going to be easier to catch people.
