My first thought upon reading this post within a minute of waking; "Oo... a magical chest! Your quest is to get in it, enter its fantasy world, and find the plug that was snatched by the evil sorcerer!"

I'm not very familiar with the Surrounded series. Am I correct in thinking this particular circle of people are also conservative in their views, and all the red flags being raised means they think their guy has gone off the tracks and is no longer debating in good faith?
