#paintdaily A little study of my time a couple Saturdays ago at Kailua Beach Park. Creativity has become a fundamental (literally fun-mental) practice of living a rebelliously fulfilling daily life. That, and being kind. I hope you are well and find ways to thrive despite the times. 💚 🏝️ 🤙🏽

Plein air painting at Kailua Beach Park last Saturday 🎉 pouring rain going up the Pali mountain, but emerged from the Pali tunnel to blue skies 💙 I haven’t painted in oils for a couple of years and I struggled! Being with my paint group was amazing. Not done but stoked to be swinging the brush again

A kind artist friend sent me images of tulips she picked. It filled me with such gratefulness that I wanted to share some orchids from my backyard. We have just gotten a flash flood warning and BIG thunder has started, so I’m surrounded by my fuzzy puppies. I’m glad we can stick together 🤗 🐶🐶🐶
