A recent paper said that complete bans on shark landings contribute way more than just banning fin-only landings. Do you think there are other ways to combat the decline in sharks and still accommodate for other stakeholders such as (local) fishermen and their livelihoods?

Hiya! I’m Manu and I’ve just started my first year of the Bachelor Marine Science at Wageningen University and Research. I’m a big elasmobranch enthusiast but can’t wait to hear more about other fields and dive deeper into the marine science/biology side of blue sky :))
