First one because it helped me so much to be able to paint and draw again:
Large grips. I couldn't find any good ones but found this idea on Reddit. Makeup sponges. I cut holes in both ends with scissors then stabbed the back end of the brush through. You can make them fit pencils, pens, brushes.
