Another thing that strikes me is that these types of threads that go viral always seem to ignore the potential impact COVID had on young people?? They were isolated, had online school and in general, it was pretty traumatizing. It changed me and I’m 40!

I will never forget chatting with a friend from Tufts while I was at a state school- my courses were far more rigorous/higher workload while he was breezing through (we were in the same degree program).

I was 18- a senior in high school- my friends and I were protesting at the Bush compound in Kennebunkport because it was so clearly a lie lol. Pretty sure if a group of teenagers could figure that out, senators with a lot more information, and power, did too. 🙃

Lol I feel this so hard but with premier league. Peacock is your “one stop shop” (it’s literally marketed this way) except for the most anticipated game of the weekend, which is shown on USA 🙃

My 15 y/o gen z kid is wracked with anxiety, constantly. It’s awful. There’s no general sense of hope for the future and she’s certainly not looking forward to being an “adult.”

The plan: get Jimmy Kimmel suspended so his ratings would quadruple. People are more interested in shows they’re not allowed to watch. This also allowed me to manufacture the biggest First Amendment issue in decades.
