I have dyslexia so bad that reading is a chore for me. If I can’t 100% be completely alone with no sound, I can’t make my brain make sense of the words. Even just to know what one word is. I listen to audiobooks for escapism and I feel like I have “read” comprehended them. Some need audiobooks
