They'd all make a HAHAHA SO AND SO IS A SLUT comment and the girl would argue and fight. I'd just laugh and say "yup." And just go along w/ it. And since I went out of a town a lot? Well...rumors flew

Context: I went to a very religious school. It gossiped about girls being "easy" and spread loads of lies.

I spread the rumor that I was a complete & total slut, so that any rumors about me would never take off nor hurt me. After all, I'd be hearing a rumor I had started.

No one knew for decades.

In fact, I hadn't slept with anyone in high school, but I also had no targeted rumors about me bc I just let everyone think I was.

Decades later, high school friends eventually asking which rumor was true, and absolutely floored that *I* had started them all.

I got a box of author copies from Amazon again, so you know what that means 🙄

For those who have been following the saga for TWO AND A HALF YEARS NOW you'll see a familiar face again.

I have damaged books in my order: Order #

Damaged in transit:
1 x A Magical Inheritance
1 x A Lady's Choice
1 x Spirit Caller

A previously returned damaged book from May 28, 2023 that I was advised was removed from the warehouse system and CLEARLY was not:
1 x A Ghostly Request

This damage is because the boxes are not packed properly. There is no packing paper or cardboard around the books. Also, books *cannot* be stood up in the middle of the box. They will always be damaged this way. This has been an issue for over three years now, despite assurances that something will be done about it.

I would like the four books reordered directly by amazon support, as if I reorder the shipping costs are higher than what I will be reimbursed for if you do a prorated amount (it's possible, you've done it for me before).
Please see the attached photos of the damage.
Please note that I have been advised previously not to return any damaged copies as they *will* be put back into circulation despite the constant assurance that it will not. As you can see, I am still dealing with this issue.
Escalate as necessary to fix this issue.

it's *so* petty because it's the same delivery people! Hell, occasionally, you get your author copies AND your amazon order in the same box here (I once got coconut oil with my author copies)

Update: Amazon shows the box as in "transit" and I'm like no, it literally shows a photo of my front step on my account, and I have the box in front of me

The first was a bot, the second was probably a bot, the third was a person who could only do the copy/paste + scan English level. This current guy is following me, he's just not understanding Amazon

Nah, it's typical outsourced Tier 1 copy-paste. I used to write these for a company. They scan your message for key phrases, and then match up against the copy-paste chart. That's why I've been referred twice - my question was too complex and required a higher English skill level.
